WELCOME TO THE GATEWAY QUARTER OF OTR!
The Lackman is a one of-a-kind bar experience by Four Entertainment Group (4EG). Located at 1237 Vine St., the bar is on the first floor of the Lackman building, built by turn-of-the-century Cincinnati brewery Herman Lackman. The bar’s signage reflects the label Herman Lackman used on his beer bottles.

The Lackman is located in the Gateway Quarter neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine and includes a full bar and eclectic wine selection. The diverse beer selection includes 14 beers on tap and over 30 bottled beers covering crafts, imports and domestics. Our knowledgeable bar staff can assist, suggest or educate customers on their selections.
The 900-square foot building has been carefully preserved of its historic beauty, retaining the original tile floor and exposed brick while incorporating modern charm and convenience. In 2024, The Lackman was featured as one of Apartment Guide's 12 Hidden Gems in Cincinnati, Ohio.
